I'm a ski racer and I love ski racing.
I competed at the 2010 Olympic Games with a torn knee (ACL) and despite being injured I was totally inspired by the experience and that's why I'm setting my sights on Sochi, 2014 and doing everything in my power to be happy, healthy, strong and ready to throw it down and rip it up and race down the hill in a crazy fast ludicrous-speed way for CANADA. I love racing. I can't wait for the World Cup season to start up again in a few months so I can get crazy butterflies in my stomach in the start gate followed by an insane rush of adrenaline as I keep aiming to stand on top of the podium.
I've had a few injuries but they won't stop me from striving for the feeling that I get when I've pushed my limits, been aggressive and charged a race run. You'll know I've done it when you see the biggest smile EVER plastered on my face in the finish line. Nothing beats the feeling of doing your best and knowing it was great. My injuries and setbacks have only made me stronger and hungrier to win on every level.
I love my life and
I love blogging and hope you like reading it!
