It’s been a bit of a whirlwind since leaving Hood. I had lots of fun coaching Keely’s camp and even got a day of training in with Hailey (Duke) on my day off! It was good to see her back on SNOW! Since Hood, Marco and I went to Truckee for a few days and then headed back to SLC. School starts next week!!!! Crazy! I am excited to get back into a sweet routine of working out and studying. I’ve been back on my bike a bunch and will be ramping up my dryland training each day! I set it up so that this semester I only have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays: marketing, accounting, speech, and information resource management. The schedule should work really well for early season training in Colorado. The drive is about 5-6 hours and will be something I will probably do as soon as there is SNOW. It’s hard to imagine snow right now in SLC since it’s soooooooo hot everyday. I’m trying to beat the heat this weekend and am heading to Sun Valley and Jackson Hole for some time with friends and in the mountains! It’s all about working hard and having fun! Happy weekends to everyone! Here are some pics from the last few weeks!
That’s all! A friend of mine posted this funny essay on Facebook today and I thought it was worth sharing. Check it out! http://cheese-wheel.com/2013/08/14/lessons-learned-from-ski-racing/
