What a winter we had! It snowed and snowed and snowed – we could no longer see out the windows of our house, and most free time was spent shoveling! But man, what an amazing time we had skiing. I can’t remember ever being so excited to get up early and chase the first chair and then spending endless hours enjoying the goods. It was wonderful, and definitely reignited whatever passion for skiing I may have lost along the way.
The pics below come from a particularly memorable weekend that we spend overnighting in Emerald Bay at a friends’ forest service cabin. Six of us spent the night snuggled tightly into a tiny, rustic, cozy cabin by the crackling fire. The morning views are astounding – and the skiing that followed even more-so. We are so lucky!
