So much snow called for random/extreme adventuring. Usually, this kind of descent would not be possible, but for a few days this year Mt. Rose to Galena, NV was skiable! We skied from the top of Rose straight to the car parked down in Galena. The elevation loss was about 3,900 feet! It was a pretty crazy and cool experience!
