We just returned home from a week-long road trip through Idaho and Utah! The weekend started out with Rob’s 69th surprise birthday party in Swan Valley Idaho. We stayed right on the beautiful and entertaining Snake river. Marco got back on his mountain bike and we rode almost everyday – plus he became a fly-fisherman! If not riding or fishing, we were taking part in an epic river float down the snake, celebrating Rob, wearing our d0-rags and flip glasses, and generally having a great time! After the party shenanigans, we headed to Sun Valley to visit the Spencers. I LOVE Sun Valley – it’s so beautiful and serene. I could probably live there. We explored Galena mountain bike trails and visited our old favourites. We even went to the Symphony! It was a great quick trip. Finally, we drove to Park City to see the (newlywed) Friedmans! There, we also rode some classic Park City buff trails and enjoyed great company. Now we are BACK IN TAHOE! Back to business – working on the house, the yard, getting in shape, and enjoying the long sunny days.
